Before your appointment, make sure your O2 sensor is functioning and entering closed loop, your battery is fully charged, your OBD-II port is working, your front tires match in size, your front-end toe is set straight, fuel pressure is at minimum 58 lbs, and you have fresh fuel of the octane you plan to run.
