SBR Custom Merge Tune - Crown Vic & Grand Marquis 🏁
A real tune built on your car's actual read. Not a generic file blasted to everybody. You send us your stock read, we merge our proven SBR calibration into your exact file, and you flash a tune dialed for your combo.
Fits: 2005-2012 Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis with the 4.6L modular V8. P71 Police Interceptors included.
Not currently offered: 1996-2004 Crown Victoria and the 2003-2004 Mercury Marauder. Those run a different controller and we don't have a proven SBR baseline for them yet. We'd rather tell you that up front than sell you a guess. Reach out if that's your car and we'll let you know if it changes.
You'll need: HP Tuners MPVI interface, VCM Suite, and credits to write your PCM. If you already read and write your own PCM, you're set.
Everything here reads and writes through the OBDII port. Nothing on this page requires a send-in unlock or upgrade service.
How it works:

- Reply to your order confirmation email with your stock read file, your HP Tuners interface serial number, and your full mod list and setup
- We build your file and email your finished tune back, usually within 24 to 48 hours
- Flash it and go get that W 🏆
Tell us everything in that email. Cam, intake, headers, exhaust, injectors, throttle body, blower or nitrous, rear gear, tire size, transmission and converter, and the fuel you're running. Tell us if it's a P71 and whether it still has the police calibration. The more you give us, the better your file. We'll come back with questions if we need them.
Your file is locked to you. Every SBR merge tune is locked to your HP Tuners interface serial number and to your VIN, so it will only write to your car with your interface. That's why we ask for your serial when you send in your read. If you later change interfaces, swap PCMs, or sell the car, just reach out and we'll get you sorted with a new file.
Fuel matters. 91 and 93 are pump-gas tunes. Race fuel tunes are off-road use only. Do not run a race fuel tune on the street or on a car with catalytic converters you care about. Tell us the fuel you're running, and run the fuel your tune is built for.
Would rather we handle it? We also tune these by mail-order. Ship us your stock PCM and we'll send it back ready to install.
